When you can get your money back from Drivings — the trial, the cooling-off period and our pass guarantee.
We want you to feel good about subscribing to Drivings. This policy explains when a refund is available, how to ask for one, and how long it takes to land back on your card.
Every new subscription begins with a 14-day free trial. You won't be charged until day 14. Cancel any time before then and you pay nothing — there's no refund needed because nothing has been taken.
Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations you have 14 days from the start of your paid subscription to change your mind. Email us within that window and we'll refund you in full, less any small proportionate charge for use during the period.
If you complete every chapter and every practice section in the app and don't pass on your first official attempt, we'll refund your subscription in full.
To claim, email us a copy of your result within 30 days of the test date. We'll process the refund as soon as we've checked your account activity.
Outside the cases above, refunds are at our discretion. If you've had a billing issue, a technical problem that prevented you from using Drivings, or any other concern, get in touch — we look at every request on its merits.
Once approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 working days. Depending on your bank or card provider it can take a further 3–10 working days to appear on your statement.
Subscriptions that have run for more than 14 days without a valid guarantee claim are non-refundable. We also can't refund accounts that have been suspended or terminated for breaking our terms of use.
Please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank. Most billing questions can be resolved within one working day. Disputing a legitimate charge through your bank may result in account suspension while we investigate.
